There are no more vacancies in the World Championship for the 2024 season. On December 1, Williams officially announced that it would hire American driver Logan Sargent for the next season.
Thus, a unique situation has emerged in F1: for the first time in history, exactly the same lineup of drivers that completed the previous one must register for the next championship. Of course, this can still be avoided due to force majeure, such as health problems (pah-pah-pah), but in general the F1 transfer market has frozen. Teams are afraid to take on newcomers (especially since there is no talent of Piastri’s level on the horizon) and prefer to remain faithful to those already on the grid.
Therefore, we are studying the practically unchanged composition of the stables and expect a much more interesting period of transitions in the 2024 season. The main intrigue is the vacancy of Red Bull’s second driver, and changes are possible in absolutely all mid-level teams.
