The Russian Biathlon Union has presented a new equipment concept for the Russian national biathlon team for the upcoming winter season. The concept was called “Biathlon with a great legacy”.
“The designers presented the traditional scarlet color in a new interpretation, calling it the color of heritage and traditions, the pattern reflects the grandeur and diversity of the natural landscapes of Russia. The “rabbit ears” element, which can be seen on the kit, is the trademark of the Russian brand PROTEAM, the manufacturer of these kits. The symbol of the brand is our fast, agile and cunning Russian white hare. We are proud to be the heirs of the biathlon traditions of our great athletes, to carry the banner of their victories at the DNA level”, says the official website of the organization.
In the 2022/23 season, Russian biathletes were suspended from international competitions by decision of the Congress of the International Biathlon Union.
