Croatian tennis players Borna Coric and Donna Vekic won the 2023 Hopman Cup last week as part of their national team, defeating Switzerland’s Leandro Ridi and Celine Naef in the final.
Fans during the tournament noticed not only the quality of Coric and Vekic’s play, but also the “chemistry” between them on and off the court. There was little doubt that Bourne and Donna were in a romantic relationship. Athletes have yet to confirm it, but much suggests that another star couple has appeared in tennis besides Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa.

Be that as it may, Vekic, 27, has repeatedly stated that she is focused on her career after parting ways with three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland in 2019. On the tennis player’s social networks, it really seemed that she had no partner. The same can be said for 26-year-old Coric.
The situation changed during the Hopman Cup in Nice. Coric and Vekic actively posted joint photos and videos on their pages, in which they have fun together and communicate as if they are in love with each other. In the comments, many fans pointed out that they would never believe only in the friendship of tennis players.

Croatian national team captain in the Hopman Cup, Iva Majoli, was one of those who were active under the numerous positions of Coric and Vekic. “They’re like Barbie and Ken,” Majoli wrote under one of them, referencing the now-popular movie “Barbie,” starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
“This photo is not just random people,” is another comment from Majoli under the selfie of Coric and Vekic, hinting at the tennis players’ relationship.
Majoli fueled already intensified rumors about Coric and Vekic’s romance. What about the tennis players themselves? The relationship does not confirm it, but it is very possible that it is a matter of time. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa also started with the active publication of joint photos without any details.

Of course, there is a chance that Coric and Vekic will continue to hide their feelings. Borna and Donna are in the top 20 of the ATP and WTA rankings, respectively.
