An unexpected statement appeared on Baranovichi’s social media. The club reported that during the match one of the fans grabbed the ball that had gone flying and ran out of the stadium. In addition, a video of this “scandalous” act appeared. The post came out asking for help finding the thief. Otherwise, according to them, a statement will be filed with the police.
“Dear viewers and fans! We ask you to help us recover the stolen soccer ball. If you have information about this incident or recognize the person in the video, please contact us or our club. The CCTV camera footage will be released tomorrow and handed over to the police,” the message reads.
