The bronze medalist of the Women’s Chess World Cup, which continues in Baku, has been determined.
She became the Ukrainian chess player Anna Muzychuk, who defeated the representative of China Tan Zhongyi.
In the first game, the athlete from Ukraine won, and in the second game she tied. Thus, the match for third place in the Women’s World Chess Cup ended with a score of 1.5-0.5 in favor of Anna Muzychuk.
Let’s remember that today, August 21, there will be a tiebreaker of the final match, in which the Russian Alexandra Goryachkina will play the representative of Bulgaria Nurgyul Salimova. The first two games of the final ended in a tie.
