“Krasnodar” and “Spartak” discovered a new draw for the Russian Cup with a match between them. The quartet, in which both clubs landed according to the results of the draw, has already been described by many as a group of death, so it was highly undesirable to lose points at the beginning of both.
Opponents came to the game in the form of a new design. The ensemble that turned out to be most beautiful in the end is, of course, a matter of taste, but it should be noted that the red insertion on the white T-shirts of the guests looked as elegant as it was unusual.
In addition, from the moments before the game, it was important to note that Krasnodar from the first minutes did not enter the field any of the authors of goals against Dynamo in the match of the first round of the Russian Premier League. In turn, Spartak was again deprived of the possibility of goalkeeper rotation, which the rojiblancos have been actively practicing in recent seasons. Alexander Selikhov continues to serve the suspension received at the end of the match with Zenit in the last frame, and it would be too desperate an experiment to send Ilya Svinov, who has no game practice, to the last frontier. So the number one spot was usually occupied by Alexander Maksimenko. But in the defense of the Muscovites there was a match with Orenburg from the stands Georgy Dzhikiya.

The first twenty minutes of the match almost made the spectators in the stands fall asleep. Not a single dangerous moment and a great deal of buzz in midfield and on the sidelines is clearly not what fans expected from the match of teams that have recently become accustomed to turning face-to-face meetings into a glittering spectacle.
The scoring attack of the Muscovites appeared as if out of nowhere. After the break, the home team tried to step forward, but Spartak repelled the first flash of Krasnodar activity and responded with a dangerous shot from Mikhail Ignatov under the crossbar, which Agkatsev faced not without difficulty. And then the teams returned to their favorite pastime by the standards of the beginning of the game – the pursuit of happiness in positional fighting. The match went smoothly towards the break, but Anton Zinkovsky’s activity led to a flagrant foul by Eduard Spertsyan, which Alexei Sukhoi, without hesitation and consulting with the VAR, assessed with a direct red card. So, for the second half, Krasnodar had to come out not only losing on the scoreboard, but also in the minority.
Agkatsev’s frustrated profit performance
The second half predictably began with attacks from Muscovites. But the fact that “Spartak” will besiege the gates of “Krasnodar” with such passion, almost no one expected. In the first fifteen minutes after returning from the locker room, Agkatsev had to work tirelessly. But the ball stubbornly did not want to enter the home team’s goal. Gradually, Vladimir Ivic’s team was able to get out in their penalty area, but the situation for the southerners was aggravated by the fact that they needed to score and act in an incomplete composition. As a result, Krasnodar’s goalkeeper still turned out to be not iron. Spartak newcomer Theo Bongonda successfully took advantage of the rebound after Prutsev’s shot and scored his first goal for the new team in an official match.

The guests did not slow down, clearly wanting to continue the pleasant tradition of scoring four goals against Krasnodar. As a result, the home team was able to distinguish itself.
