A tragedy has struck the family of Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman: the star’s 57-year-old mother Janelle Anne Kidman has died at the age of 85.
Nicole received terrible news at the Venice Film Festival, which she had to leave quickly.
In this regard, Kidman was unable to receive the Volpi Cup award for her courageous role in the film Bad Girl.
The film’s director, Halina Rein, accepted the award in place of the actress, reading out Kidman’s message, which informed her of the sad reason for her absence, TMZ reports.
This year, Pedro Almodóvar’s film The Next Room received the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
