GES-2 is home to a new architectural object: the Limé pop-up store. The project is part of the brand’s official collaboration with the House of Culture. The design of the object was developed in collaboration with the Aurore architectural studio, which was inspired by the sculptures of minimalist artists from the 1960s and 1970s.
“We wanted to combine the functionality and durability of equipment that the public constantly interacts with, while maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the facilities themselves. The challenge was to achieve this synthesis, since the perfection of such ascetic forms lies precisely in flawless unions and transitions,” said Aurore designers Maria Kachalova, Olga Lipatova and Yulia Zhilina-Culver.
A special collection was developed for space. It included a hoodie, a T-shirt, a cap and a jumpsuit in the characteristic colours of GES-2: blue, white and grey. In addition, a limited edition fanzine about the interaction of people with things can be purchased in the shop.
