The reason for the emergency stop was a strong wind, accompanied by a downpour and heavy hail. Pieces of frozen water, covering the territory with a layer of ice, exceeded two centimeters in diameter.
– The cyclone came from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, – reported the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Department employees posted photos and videos shared with the rescuers by subscribers on Telegram.
According to Governor Igor Kobzev, the disaster has knocked out three power lines in the Nizhneudinsky district; 1580 people lost their electricity. Soon, specialists restored power along two lines, and by the evening of June 2, about 500 subscribers remained without power.
