548 people and 23 teams are involved in the extinction of forests. 327 people came from other regions to help the Magadan fire brigade. They arrived from the air bases of Primorye, the Jewish Autonomous Region and Buryatia, from the federal reserve “Avialeookhrana” from the cities of Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Irkutsk, Chita and Krasnoyarsk. The Be-200 plane of the Khabarovsk Aviation Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry was involved, as well as the AN-26 sounding plane, which causes rain.
Natural fire in the Magadansky reserve is under special control. As noted in the General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region, settlements and economic facilities are not in danger now.
In the Magadan region, there is a state of emergency. In some areas a special fire regime has been established. It prohibits making fires, burning garbage and grass, burning agricultural fires and much more.
