Yesterday it became known that media producer and businessman Pyotr Gavrilov died a week after gastric resection at Dr. Khaidarov’s clinic. Peter, 35, felt a sharp pain in his stomach and called an ambulance. However, he initially refused to be hospitalized and a few days later he became even worse. The producer allegedly developed blood poisoning, from which he died on February 27. Today information has emerged that searches have been launched at the media surgeon’s clinic. KP.RU contacted lawyer Kristina Vysotskaya.
As we were able to find out, in Timur Khaidarov’s clinic no registrations are carried out, but rather a mandatory verification of the patient’s death.
“Of course, there is a verification standard. It is provided for in the Code of Criminal Procedure. The Investigative Committee always carries out an investigation into the fact of death. Representatives of the Investigative Committee are obliged to find out the circumstances of a person’s death and establish that it did not occur as a result of any violent action or crime. How the control ends depends on the results. Now a criminal case has not been initiated, but a pre-investigation control is being carried out. And this is fully regulated by the Criminal Procedure Code. There is no cause for concern at this time. In this case, I am sure that the representatives of the investigative committee will be convinced and determine that the clinic employees are not guilty of the death of this patient,” lawyer Kristina Vysotskaya told KP.RU.
We would like to add that Gavrilov’s bereaved relatives are awaiting an official medical report. The late Peter’s wife is pregnant and in shock. The producer’s entourage is confident that the doctors at the famous clinic are to blame for her death. At the same time, one of his friends deeply regrets that the young man has undergone a dangerous operation to reduce his stomach. This surgery is usually indicated for obese patients.
Pyotr Gavrilov’s relatives intend to find out the cause of his death and file an additional lawsuit.
“I will personally go to my superiors and collect all the testimonies and evidence of the victims of this non-human; if necessary, I will go to all channels in Russia.” — Elvina Abramova, a friend of the Gavrilov family, said on social media.
According to another version, which KP.RU learned yesterday, the patient Gavrilov arrived at Khaidarov’s clinic on his own two feet and left on his own. He was then treated at another hospital, after which he fell ill. However, Peter’s relatives have not yet reported what type of medical institution it is.
