A trailer for the cartoon “The Inventor” appeared on the Blue Fox Entertainment YouTube channel. Its main character was Leonardo da Vinci. The film’s writer and director was animator Jim Capobianco, known for his work on “Ratatouille,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “The Lion King.” His co-author was French cinematographer Pierre-Luc Gragnon.
The animated film tells the story of a scientist who leaves Italy to join the French court, where he can experiment freely, study the human body and create incredible flying machines. Da Vinci’s companion in the cartoon will be the daring Princess Margaret. Together with her, the brilliant inventor will search for the answer to the question: “What is the meaning of life?”
“I’m talking about a story that happened at the end of his life and the years he spent in France,” said Capobianco, for whom “The Inventor” will be his directorial debut.
The main character of the film will be played by Stephen Fry. Other roles will be played by Daisy Ridley, Marion Cotillard, Gauthier Battu and Matt Berry. “The Inventor” will be released on August 25.
It was previously known that Nicolas Winding Refn has been working on a secret animated series for an entire year. The director did not reveal plot details and talked about the approximate release date. We tell you more here.
