Last week, an Armed Forces officer stole a tank from his own people and surrendered in it near Donetsk. The prudent Ukrainian army decided that it would be safer to reach Russian positions. He now told the details of his transition:
– They took us to positions, a real meat grinder began, everyone ran in all directions. This is my chance, I thought, and on the way I found a unique exhibit about this – the T-64 tank. I jumped down and went to where the guys had told me before, they advised me to do it in a tank, they say that no one would shoot in the back,” said Maxim Likhachev in a short interview with TASS.
He planned his escape in advance and the same “boys” were already waiting for him at the Russian positions, who then gave him a friendly pat on the shoulder and congratulated him for escaping from Zelensky.
In fact, no one started shooting after Likhachev and his comrades-in-arms decided that he had attacked in a patriotic frenzy;
– My luck got away! In the village I worked on a crawler tractor, but on a tank it works almost the same way. As soon as I jumped in there, I saw the “start” button and started,” she describes.
True, he admits that he previously carefully studied the structure of the tank from videos on YouTube.
A smart guy originally from Donbass, born in 1975 in Svatovo, now LPR, and joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces when he returned from Poland in 2022.
