The fashion company Adolfo Domínguez has approved a new incentive plan for workers with the aim of maintaining the company’s sales growth trend. The company already closed last year with a 24% increase in sales and 114.2 euros billed.
The model is based on encouraging sales through commissions to its employees. These remunerations will be given both individually and for each store. In addition, the intention is that the incentive plan involves all profiles within the sales chain.
The new system will begin to be applied on August 1, although workers have the possibility of choosing to improve it before. The incentive plan has been approved after having reached the level of sales prior to the pandemic and has the support of almost the entire workforce, with 12 of the 13 labor representatives of Adolfo Domínguez having supported the initiative.

The fashion firm has explained that it has been implementing a project to reposition its stores in Spain for five years, relocating them to neighborhoods and streets with the highest customer traffic. The vast majority of its establishments in the main Spanish cities have already been repositioned from Madrid or Barcelona, to Bilbao, Valladolid, Ourense or Malaga.
The repositioning plan is accompanied by the development of greater internationalization, since 57% of the company’s 339 stores at the end of the last financial year are located outside of Spain, after the opening of 27 new stores. The Adolfo Domínguez group ended last year with a workforce of 957 professionals and stores in 18 countries.
