Just yesterday the news appeared that Alexander Mikhailov, who flew to Chita for the 11th Trans-Baikal International Film Festival, was hospitalized with suspected pneumonia. This fact was confirmed to KP.RU by the organizers of the event: Alexander Yakovlevich did indeed have a fever and was taken to a medical facility. But Alexander Mikhailov turned out to be a real Siberian and, to everyone’s surprise, he attended the opening of the film festival, which took place at the Trans-Baikal Regional Philharmonic.
Alexander Yakovlevich, 79, dressed in an elegant suit, walked happily along the carpet accompanied by his wife Oksana. KP.RU personally asked how the actor was feeling.
“I feel incredible. Amazing. Don’t listen to anyone! It was all there, but not to that point. I happen to be very popular when something happens. In general everything is fine. We have a festival,” Alexander Mikhailov told KP.RU.
Recall that the day before Mikhailov flew to Chita to attend the 11th Trans-Baikal International Film Festival. It is not the first time that Alexandr Yakovlevich participates in this event. The star of the movie “Love and Doves” was born in the Chita region and these places are special for him.
Although the artist felt better, it was decided not to make the excursion to his hometown scheduled for May 31. However, Alexander Mikhailov intends to stay for the entire film festival, until June 2.
