On the first day of spring, Alla Pugacheva’s album titled “PS” will be released.

Of course, the news that Alla Pugacheva, one of the most famous singers in Russian history, will release a new album is impressive. However, the singer’s fans are unlikely to find anything new in the “PS” (“Postscript”) album. The songs collected in it were performed on April 17, 2019 at a concert at the State Kremlin Palace. And then, in the musical film “Alla Pugacheva. That Concert”, which was released in the fall of 2019 and was shown on Channel One on January 1, 2020.
The album will contain basically the same songs as in the movie: “Anesthesia”, “Live in My Skin”, “On a Horse”, “Life for Show”, “Free”, “Gray Coat”, “I Need Something” “, “Nightingale”, “My friend”, “The dew fell to the ground”, “Monologue”, “Everything is fine”, “Holy lie”, “The heart pulls his hands”, “The head is spinning”, “Star”, “Do not hurt me, gentlemen”, “The candle was lit”, “Love is like a dream”, “The woman who sings”. In addition, all the compositions will be performed in concert; this is nothing more than a recording of Pugacheva’s performance at the State Concert Hall.
Last November it was reported that Alla Pugacheva, who lives abroad with her husband, Maxim Galkin*, visited Russia, en route from Moscow to St. Petersburg, stopping in Tver and visiting the Salam recording studio. There she previously recorded many of her compositions, for example, those included on the 1995 album “Do n’t Hurt Me, Gentlemen”. Sound engineer Igor Laletin told journalists that during the visit the singer recorded three new songs in the studio: “about love, about the fate of a woman.” But these songs will not be included on the “PS” album and it is unknown when we will hear them.
Laletin also said that Pugacheva, who will turn 75 on April 15, will no longer come to Russia in the near future.
