During the duration of the “Cardo”, the center of Stavropol has become the capital of street culture in Russia. On the central street named after Lenin and on Aleksandrovskaya squares, as well as next to them, arenas have been created, where the qualifying and final stages of the tournament will take place.
Winners will be determined in ten categories for the grand finale: hip-hop, skateboarding, stunt scooter, BMX bike, graffiti drawing, parkour, training, tricks (a special type of modern stunt) and DJ.
In addition, the winners of the video contest, the winner of the prize for the contribution to the development of street culture and sport, the winners of the scholarship contests will be announced.
Right in front of the regional government building, a large stage was set up for the days of the festival, and next to it, for the entourage, cargo containers and vintage cars. The opening of the festival took place on this site. It was a musical concert, a presentation of the award participants and the addresses in which the best will find out.
“I visited the main place of Cardo – the guys put on a spectacular show. It was bright and powerful! All Russia and representatives of other countries came to us for the competition-prize in street culture and sports,” Stavropol Governor. The Cardo prize is held for the sixth time, for the first time it was also based in Stavropol, and in subsequent years it moved to other places, such as Belgorod and Caucasian Mineralnye Vody.
