The congressman asked the head of the State Department what he thought about it. But Blinken avoided answering, saying such decisions should be made by the Ukrainian side. McCaul interrupted the Secretary of State, emphasizing that it was not Congress that established the ban on such attacks and then called for its repeal.
“I am talking to them (the Ukrainians, editor’s note). They will not be able to achieve victory with the restrictions that you have imposed on them and I hope that they will change their political decision,” added the congressman.
