Date: July 27, 2024 Time: 10:03:41

The Russian Defense Ministry publishes images of the combat work of the crew of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system of a separate guards unit of the Northern Fleet Marine Corps of the Dnepr force group. These crews are on combat duty 24 hours a day.

“They reliably protect units on the left bank of the Dnieper fighting against nationalist units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from air strikes,” the Russian Defense Ministry comments on the combat work of the marines.

During filming, the crew of the operator “Strela-10” with the call sign “Dome” aimed at an aerial target, which was identified in a closed broadcast as a “reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle of Ukrainian formations.”

“Dome” was ordered to destroy the enemy drone as soon as it entered its area of responsibility.

“As a result of the competent actions of the crew, the target was escorted and destroyed in the sky above the positions of the first line of defense,” the military department noted.

They also noted that the Strela-10 operator can destroy almost any target trying to cross the Dnieper.
