Council of Fashion Designers of America releases New York Fashion Week schedule

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, or CFDA, has released a preliminary schedule for New York Fashion Week on its official website. There are currently 71 confirmed designer shows.

Peter Doe’s debut show as creative director of Helmut Lang will officially open New York Fashion Week on Friday, September 8, and Raúl López, winner of the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards for Accessories Designer of the Year, will close with Luar on Wednesday, September 13.

Brands returning to New York to show include Proenza Schouler, COS, Tory Burch, Carolina Herrera, Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, Collina Strada, Gabriela Hearst, Khaite, Michael Kors, Palomo Spain and dozens more.

Advisry, Chan Chit Lo, FFORME, Grace Ling, and Sho Konishi appeared on the show for the first time.

“New York Fashion Week is integral to the city’s vibrant culture and sense of constant development and discovery,” said CFDA CEO Stephen Kolb. – This season’s official New York Fashion Week calendar features the hottest names in American fashion, both new and established. We are delighted to have Ralph Lauren, Jonathan Cohen and 3.1 Phillip Lim back on the runway in New York.”

We will remember, the schedule of the London fashion week was known earlier. This year it will take place from September 15 to 19. Burberry, JW Anderson and Chopova Lowena returned to official programming.
