CSKA hosted Krylya Sovetov Samara in the match of the eighth round of the RPL in Moscow. Igor Osinkin’s young team is showing a very bright game this season and rightfully occupies fourth place in the table.
The start of the match was discouraging for the army team. In the second minute after the visitors’ attack, defender Nikolai Rasskazov put the ball into the goal. The injury to central defender Moisés, who requested a substitution in the 21st minute, added to the problems of CSKA coach Vladimir Fedotov.
And a minute later the Samara team scored for the second time. Ilya Agapov, who replaced the Brazilian, passed the ball into the fight, the Samara team intercepted the ball and, after a pass from Amar Rakhmanovich, Nikita Saltykov burst into the area and surprised Igor Akinfeev for the second time.
CSKA’s attack was not going well at all. But Krylia goalkeeper Ivan Lomaev came to the rescue. After a corner kick, he hit Willian Roche in the face with his hand and, after checking the VAR, Artem Lyubimov awarded a penalty.
Anton Zabolotny was very timid, but Lomaev reached for the ball. However, to the disappointment of the Samara team, the ball went into the net at the hands of the goalkeeper.
In the second half, CSKA came out ready to fight. And he began to get closer to the rival goal more frequently. But in the 62nd minute, one of the soldiers, Willian Rocha, received a second yellow card and left the team with ten men.
And surprisingly, the ten army men began to act much more actively. And Fyodor Chalov, who came on as a substitute, was able to equalize the score.
At the end of the match, the referee equalized the lineups by eliminating Samaran Alexander Soldatenkov. Despite the chances of both teams, the result on the scoreboard never changed: a 2:2 draw.
