The director of the project, Svetlana Druzhinina, said many times that the film was about to end. She then also reported that the funding had stopped. And so over and over again. But now, it seems, the sad story of torment has come to an end. The main star of the franchise, Dmitry Kharatyan, explained when to expect the premiere.
During the VK festival in St. Petersburg, the actor admitted that in the fall, viewers can watch two new projects about midshipmen at once.
– The fourth film, which is called “Midshipmen 1787. The World”, opens on October 5 at all sites, theaters in the country, I hope, – said Dmitry. – And the second film, which is called “Midshipmen 1787. War”, comes out on November 16. I think you will not regret watching the continuation of the story “Midshipmen 1787”.
The date “1787” is associated with the year in which the battle on Kinburn Spit took place during the Russo-Turkish war. The midshipmen made a significant contribution to the general victory of the Russian army and Alexander Suvorov. And it was in 1787 that the “Western partners” wanted to break the Kyuchuk-Kainarji peace treaty, which secured the Crimean peninsula for Russia.
And, as the plot of the fifth and sixth “Midshipmen” tells, at the time when the enemies used dirty political tricks (from shameless gossip, dark rumors, to dirty manipulations with the illegitimate son of the sovereign), the friendly midshipmen come. in aid of Catherine the Great, assisted by her adult children.
