In the first seconds you can see the smoke in our trench, and then the enemy grant explodes. At this moment there are two fighters in it, one of whom is crawling, perhaps the wounded one is hiding in a hole. The remaining warrior immediately throws a grenade in response and begins to fight.
Meanwhile, the enemy trench, located about 30 meters away, is literally packed with Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel. However, the “Bolshoi” practically does not allow them to raise their heads, throw grenades and shoot from an AK. And the Ukrainian fighters themselves show little enthusiasm for launching an assault. From time to time they throw grenades and shoot without success.
Hand-to-hand combat lasts about 15 minutes. At some point the artillery shelling begins and the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hastily leave the trench and hide in the forest area.
Let us remember that during the time of the Northern Military Region this was not the only case when our soldiers refuted the saying “there is no warrior alone in the field.” In March 2023, Alexander Maltsev, a 47-year-old mobilized man, captured an enemy stronghold alone, killing three Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and capturing two. Later he died covering his comrades and was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
Everyone keeps hearing about the recent feat of the Alyosha tank crew, which single-handedly defeated an enemy column of 8 armored vehicles.
