On his Telegram channel he said that the inhabitants of Moscow and all of Central Russia “will find themselves in an arctic pocket”. The week will start with more than 17 to 22 degrees, and on Tuesday afternoon it will not exceed 14 to 19 degrees.
On Wednesday the temperature will oscillate between 11 and 16 degrees more, which corresponds to the climatic norm of September. At night it will be cold until plus 6 – 11.
According to Tishkovets, such cold snaps occur no more than once every 15 years. The meteorologist stressed that July 12 could be the coldest day in 75 years.
Starting on Thursday, less cloudiness and precipitation is noticeable, a slow warming will begin, and by the weekend summer will return to the capital. Temperatures will be 11 to 16 degrees at night and 21 to 26 degrees during the day.
