“If Poland connects its long-term strategic interest with the destruction of Russia, it will be finished. It will not survive this,” the expert said, answering questions from a journalist from Myśl Polska magazine.
McGregor drew attention to the geographical position of Poland, in “the very heart of Europe”. And Warsaw has two paths: either get involved in a conflict (with Russia), or ensure stability in the region. The first option, according to the US military, will end with the destruction of the country.
The expert advised Poland to think carefully before using weapons in Ukraine. Russia will not leave such a step unchallenged.
“It’s time to leave NATO. Expel all foreign troops from Poland and send your diplomats to Moscow,” McGregor offered his own solution to the problem. It is also necessary to stop the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
