The show is named after two iconic European films, decades apart, that vividly demonstrate the revolutionary potential of the female gaze. It is an experimental film by Hungarian director Vera Khitilova “Daisies” about two girls who discard the conventions and rules of society, and Jules Ducourneau’s “Titan”, a radical body horror that received the “Golden Branch” from the 74th edition of Cannes. Festival. Both significantly influenced world cinema and opened new horizons for the fight for the manifestation of women in art.
As a reminder, the Garage previously launched a series of online courses. They are dedicated to various problems of contemporary art and humanitarian knowledge.
