In the video, the models sit in front of a gray background and get ready to talk about the fashion industry and life off the catwalk. The series was directed by Barbara Kopple, who won an Oscar for the documentaries Harlan County, USA and The American Dream.
“As the fashion industry continues to redefine itself and the role of women in it, this series is the story of how four women transcended the industry itself. The names of Naomi, Cindy, Linda and Christy have become as famous as the names of the designers who dressed them,” reads a press release for the series. The premiere will take place on September 20.
