As it turned out, last Wednesday, on Stakhanovskaya Street, a 21-year-old cadet of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs University in civilian clothes noticed that two men were inspecting garbage containers with a flashlight.
After introducing himself and showing his official identification, he approached them and asked them to explain what they were doing. But in response, the defendants began punching and kicking him.
A bystander, who turned out to be a 30-year-old Russian Interior Ministry transport detective, wanted to stop the fight, but was also attacked, hitting him on the body and head. They then stole his personal belongings and fled. Witnesses called an ambulance and the victims were sent to the hospital.
Investigators ordered forensic medical examinations. The suspects were arrested. They will be questioned soon. The head of the regional department, Andrei Maslov, followed the progress and results of the investigation of the criminal case.
