Law enforcement officers revealed violations when verifying the execution of a contract for one billion rubles, concluded in 2016. A criminal case has been initiated for abuse of official powers by employees of the Siberian Federal University, not yet identified.
As told in the UK regional head office, during the construction of one of the buildings, the contractor used materials that did not meet the standards. For example, concrete and reinforcement turned out to be of a class much lower than that provided for by the project.
Representatives of the client, aware of the inconsistency of the work performed with the terms of the contract, signed certificates of acceptance, as well as certificates of costs and expenses, – this is the version of the investigation.
In 2021, the commission identified flaws, in particular, the poor quality of the monolithic ceiling, cracks in the partitions, and drew up acts of violation. The operation of the emergency building was declared unacceptable and prohibited. The complex is still inactive, it is specified in the office of the prosecutor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
