The seriously injured general director of the funeral company was discovered in May 2012 at the entrance gate of the cemetery in May 2012 in the city of Pikalevo, Boksitogorsk district, Leningrad region. It was not possible to stop the suspects in the chase. A criminal case was initiated under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder), which was later reclassified as part 2 of the same article.
“During the operational search activities, the police received information about the possible participation in the crime of three previously convicted men. It was preliminarily established that they committed the murder of a businessman for a monetary reward,” the Irina Volk press service was quoted as saying.
All three are natives of the northern capital. Now law enforcement is establishing all the circumstances of the crime and the identity of all its accomplices and organizers.
