Regional Minister of Education Maria Zhafyarova said that everything is ready for the start of the school year in the region. Classes will start as usual on September 2, 2024.

In total, more than 2.9 billion rubles were allocated for preparation, which is 400 million rubles more than in 2023.

These funds were used to carry out maintenance, current repairs and major repairs of individual building elements in 1,329 educational institutions. All schools and kindergartens are equipped with video surveillance systems, fire monitoring and automatic fire alarms.

36.46 million rubles were allocated to upgrade the material base of school catering units.

School buses are equipped with tachographs and the GLONASS satellite communication system. 40 new Russian-made school buses will be delivered this year.

As part of the “Success of Every Child” project of the national “Education” project, 8,208 new places for additional education will be opened in 121 educational organizations from September 1 this year (in total, 62,205 new places for additional education have been created in five years). There are 318 “Growth Point” educational centers operating in rural areas and small towns in the region. They were opened within the framework of the federal project “Modern School” of the national “Education” project. Another 64 centers will be opened in September.

As part of the federal project “Digital Educational Environment” of the national project “Education”, a network of digital educational centers “IT-cube” has been created and is operating in the region.

Andrei Travnikov has instructed all heads of ministries, departments and municipalities to plan all events related to participation in school events for September 2, taking into account the timing of the Day of Knowledge.
