The accident occurred on Sunday around 6:00 on the Minvody-Kislovodsk highway.
The ambulance driver responded to the call. After turning on the acoustic signal and beacons, he arrived at the intersection at a prohibited traffic light and collided with a Chevrolet Niva.
As a result, the passenger of the special medical vehicle (paramedic) and the driver of the other vehicle were hospitalized.
It should be noted that the ambulance was driven by a 58-year-old local resident, an experienced sober driver, who has not been prosecuted for violating traffic rules for the past two years.
