The suspect is a minor living in one of the villages in the same city. According to the Russian Investigative Directorate for the Sverdlovsk region, he committed a crime “on the basis of previously arising personal hostility” and used a stone to carry out his plan.
“He took the fallen girl by the legs, dragged her into the forest and left her to the mercy of fate, and threw away her cell phone. At home, the guy changed his clothes, and then, together with the adults, including the girl’s parents. “He took part in the search for her,” said the head of the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, Valery Gorelykh.
The schoolgirl is now in the ninth hospital in Ekaterinburg, where she has undergone surgery and is on bed rest.
Criminologists from the Investigative Commission were called in to assist the employees of the territorial investigation department to clarify all the circumstances of the crime and to collect evidence. The investigation is currently underway.
“The suspect began to cooperate with security forces and confessed,” Gorelykh stressed.
