Larisa Dolina celebrated the 50th anniversary of her creative activity: a festive concert dedicated to this event was held on the night of December 5 in the Moscow House of Music. The artist took the stage with her band Dolina.

The 68-year-old singer chose a bright blue pantsuit embroidered with paitekas for the performance, which she later changed into another pantsuit, this time silver. The artist chose a laconic hairstyle: long straight hair that fell over her shoulders.

From the beginning of the concert, the audience suspected that something had gone wrong. The singer continued to go backstage and the musicians filled the pauses during her absence with long instrumental performances. Finally, Larisa Alexandrovna could not stand it and she turned to the audience. The singer said that on the eve of the performance she became seriously ill. Dolina did not say what exactly happened to her. However, due to her condition, the artist was willing to cancel the performance.

– You’ve probably noticed that I’m not feeling very well… This concert could not have taken place. I got sick the day before, but I decided not to cancel the show,” Dolina admitted. – I want to consult with you: tell me honestly, are you ready to wait while I run backstage and the doctor pours me the medicine?

The audience responded with a roar of approval and loud applause, cheering the singer on. Larisa Alexandrovna continued her performance and performed brilliantly in two sections. She left the stage, where the doctor was waiting for her, only when her voice began to treacherously fail her. The fact that the artist was not feeling well was only revealed by a slight hoarseness.

Dolina sang all the hits loved by the public: “Ice”, “My Half”, “In the Cape Town Port”, “Three Roses” and many others. In addition, the singer performed several jazz compositions. The students supported her on stage. Larisa Aleksandrovna is the head of the department of pop-jazz singing at the Faculty of Musical Arts of the Moscow State Institute of Culture and that night her best students sang with her.

Dolina performed several compositions in memory of the poet Mikhail Tanich, who would have turned 100 this year. Mikhail Isaevich wrote one of his best albums for Dolina, “Weather in the House”.

“He replaced my father,” the singer admitted. – When my dad died, we became very close. I spent a lot of time in his house and absorbed the extraordinary atmosphere that surrounded me.

The artist admitted that she was not feeling well, but worked throughout the concert.

Larisa Dolina mentioned that this show is her last concert in Moscow this year. For the second year in a row, the singer refuses to perform in December and does not accept New Year’s corporate parties for money. For almost the entire year, Dolina worked seven days a week: she sang in concerts, acted in television shows, taught at the university and ran her jazz club. Apparently, such a busy schedule exhausted the artist so much that she decided to take some time off and dedicate the rest of the year to rest and recovery.

Last year, the singer did exactly the same: in December 2022 she took a vacation and went to the Maldives with her daughter Angelina and her beloved granddaughter, 12-year-old Alexandra. It is possible that this year the artist will also fly with her family to warmer climates.
