Today is the deadline for applications for the Imserso program for the 2023-2024 season, as stated in the Official State Gazette (BOE). This registration period, which opened last June, is marked exclusively for people who are not included in the following Social Tourism program.
Among the novelties collected for this season, the program includes a price increase of 7.5%. In addition, it adds 70,000 new places for the Imserso. In this way, the 886,269 vacancies to be filled will be reached with a budget that increases by 14%. In total, almost 300 million have been allocated for these trips.
How to apply for the Imserso
The Institute for the Elderly and Social Services (Imserso) recommends the submission of new applications electronically through its electronic headquarters. To do this, you must download the application form for participation from the Imserso website or at the electronic headquarters.
Once completed, it must be sent by one of the following means: through the electronic records and offices listed in article 7 of Order SCB/926/2018, of September 10 or in a stamped envelope, not by certified mail, to the following address: Imserso Tourism Program, PO Box 10.140, 28080 Madrid.
How to modify erroneous data in the Imserso application?
Since the end of June, people already accredited in the Imserso database for their participation in the program have received renewal letters at their homes. These postal notifications include the necessary forms for the modification of data. The objective is that the applicants can communicate any variation to participate in the trips of the next season.
If it is not necessary to communicate any modification, it will not be necessary for applicants to send any additional documentation to Imserso in order to participate in these trips.
Who can sign up for Imserso trips?
This call is aimed exclusively at people who are not yet part of Imserso, either because they are new retirees or because they have never requested a trip through this travel program.
The necessary requirements to access the Imserso program are: being a pensioner due to retirement, being over 60 years of age or being considered a pensioner from the age of 58.
