Madonna hopes Britney Spears will join her on her upcoming Madonna: The Celebration Tour. Page Six writes about this, citing sources.
The singer hopes that Spears will take the stage with her at one of five concerts that will take place in Los Angeles in March. The publication reports that this is how Madonna wants to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her joint hit “Me Against the Music,” released in October 2003.
“At first, Madonna wanted Britney to join her on tour this year. Everything has been put on hold due to her illness, but she still wants Britney to join her at the Kia Forum,” the source says.
The artists have long maintained friendly relations. In June 2022, Madonna was a guest at the wedding of Spears and Sam Asgari, with whom she recently broke up. The last time the singers appeared on the same stage during the Sticky & Sweet Tour in November 2008.
