This Friday, the board of directors of the management company approved the appointment of Ana Martín de Santa Olalla as the new general director, replacing Juan Bernal, who leaves his position after seven years after his signing by Mapfre. Bernal is scheduled to join the insurer on May 1, where he will occupy the position of corporate director of Investments. He will report to José Luis Jiménez, who has been deputy CFO since last January. He will be in charge of the wealth management strategy, as well as the management company, which concentrates assets of 38,000 million.
Until now, Martín de Santa Olalla held the Business and Commercial Development department of CaixaBank AM as number two of the firm and is also a member of the Management Committee.
