It seems that the trend towards leadership in cinema continues to strengthen steadily. As soon as Dmitry Nagiyev reincarnated as the leader of an African tribe (in fact, a touched sea captain) in the film “My dad is the leader”, a new series with a similar introduction went into production.
Now two superstars of Russian cinema have to become leaders at once: funny Mikhail Galustyan and majestic Svetlana Khodchenkova. The artists began work on the series under the non-trivial name “zhYYYzn” (TNT, PREMIER).

In the most picturesque “jungle” of Abkhazia and the North Caucasus, the actors play a plot according to which the not authoritarian leader of the tribe (Mikhail Galustyan) seeks not to subjugate everyone around him, but … to be friends . with them. He entertains and pleases his fellow tribesmen (with sketches of Our Russia, no, it’s a joke!), Trying to distract him from the spontaneous hurricane of life around him.

“In my career we will have very difficult and longer field shoots: an expedition to Abkhazia, Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia,” Galustyan admitted. — On set it is incredibly hot during the day and cold at night. Masks, costumes – everything is like in a historical film. A large number of actors, a large film crew and very complicated logistics are involved: this, in my opinion, is one of the most global projects.
Next to the Leader’s tribe lives another tribe: the “Jerks” (so called in the script). They are led by the heroine Svetlana Khodchenkova, appointed the Leader. One of Galustyan’s “hunters” decides to run away to the fools. But instead of a nice dinner, they make her a real guest, almost like in the second part of Avatar. The deserter is given a hut and a wife. Of course, upon learning of this, the High Larsians (crossed out) begin to try to escape as soon as possible and find themselves in the warm and hospitable hands of the Leader. Warm, as it seems only at first glance…

“Despite the genre of the series, we will talk about serious things: about the complexity of the choice and what is good and bad,” Svetlana Khodchenkova hints at the connection between a seemingly fantastic plot and reality. — This seemingly simple story, told from the perspective of a primitive society, shows many different nuances of human relationships. As for my heroine Leader of the “Junkies”, I like the complex sarcastic character of her. The shooting takes place in Abkhazia, and this is another pleasant moment, I have long wanted to go here.
The director of the series was Alexander Boikov (“Friend for an hour”, “Vacation”). The project will premiere on the TNT channel and on the Premier platform in the new television season.
