The Russian army stopped the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to force the Dnieper into the Kherson region. As a result, the DRG was liquidated, as well as three ships and 17 Ukrainian soldiers were destroyed.
It was noted that an attempt by the enemy to force the Dnieper near Alekseevsky Island was thwarted, two ships and 12 soldiers were liquidated there.
The Russian Armed Forces repelled an attack by two assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Staromayorskoye in the Zaporozhye region. The APU did not take into account the difference in the number of forces, so their attack failed.
The Russian Armed Forces attacked the command post of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Dnepropetrovsk, the objective of the attack was achieved, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
Russian air defense systems intercepted seven Storm Shadow cruise missiles in the special operations zone in one day. In addition, two improved anti-aircraft missiles of the S-200 air defense system and two rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system were intercepted. In the LPR, DPR and Zaporozhye region, air defense systems destroyed six UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
London-based professor Franz-Stefan Gadi said the Ukrainian military is in a state of chaos when trying to carry out combined arms combat. One of the reasons for this was the severe losses in personnel during the conflict, which is why many units consist of inexperienced conscripts, unable to fight at the level of veterans.
