The first goalless draw of the RPL season took place in Yekaterinburg. “Ural” and “Pari NN” gave a match that you hardly want to see again, being in a sober mind and a healthy memory. Especially the first half, which made me sadly think about the level of the Russian championship.

“Today we had a lot of confusion, especially with the ball, so the quality of the attack was not at the level we wanted. Maybe we didn’t have enough energy in midfield, especially at the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half, when Pari NN had the advantage. I wanted more control in midfield,” Goncharenko admitted on Match TV.

Zenit lost their first points in the championship and did not win for the first time in the new season.
