Yesterday, during a concert in Detroit, Pink changed the lyrics of one of her songs that mention Spears. So the singer decided to express her support for the pop star, who, as is known, broke up with her husband Sam Asgari after more than a year of marriage.
In the original lyrics to “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” which was released in 2001, Pink sings, “Tired of being compared / To fucking Britney Spears / She’s so pretty / It’s just not me.” However, during a recent show, the singer replaced the word “damn” (“damn”) with “pretty” (“sweet”). Fans appreciated this gesture of empathy and gave Pink a round of applause.
