The law, which was initiated by “United Russia”, also allows students of higher education institutions to be employed in universities or scientific organizations in the position of educational support personnel.
“This is an engineer, technician, laboratory assistant. Today, more than ever, it is important to attract young people to the research and development sector,” said Alexander Mazhuga, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science.

The head of the Committee for Science, Education and Culture of the Federation Council Lilia Gumerova believes that the law will solve the problems associated with the development of independent professional activity of a young specialist, increase competitiveness, the quality of training and the problem of lack of personnel.
