Renfe allocates 4.1 million euros to renew furniture in its stations

Renfe has announced an investment of 4.1 million euros that will be used to renew the furniture in its stations throughout Spain. With this design, the railway company hopes to modernize the facilities of all its Cercanías, Rodalies and Metric Gauge network cores.

The new furniture will also be installed in stations that are remodeled or newly built.

The implementation of the more than 2,800 units of this new furniture, including benches, bins, display cases and ischial supports, will be carried out in the next two years, once the contract is signed with the winning company. The contract for the manufacture, supply and installation of furniture in Cercanías stations in all centers will begin with the implementation of different elements with the corporate image of Renfe.
