The Russian Ministry of Defense demonstrates the combat work of army aviation crews on a Mi-28nm helicopter at night in the border region of the Kursk region. The footage shows how our pilots deliver powerful strikes with aviation weapons against the accumulation of manpower, armored and automotive military equipment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border region of the Kursk region.
“The flight was carried out using night vision goggles and a new thermal imaging device, which allows for more effective detection of certain coordinates during the day and at night,” the Ministry of Defence said.
The crews of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) of the Sever group of troops are busy round the clock covering our state border in the Kursk region. They effectively fight enemy aircraft, conduct reconnaissance and attack unmanned vehicles, ballistic and cruise missiles at a distance of more than 30 kilometers.
SAM crews can conduct reconnaissance and destroy moving targets, making them an extremely difficult target for enemy artillery to hit.
“They receive thanks for their work every day, especially from ordinary residents of populated areas. Everything that flies is lost in the sky, far from residential buildings, schools, squares and parks,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
MEANWHILE
Last night, when the Kiev regime attempted to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, twenty Ukrainian-type UAVs were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems on duty.
“Nine UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Saratov region, three over the territory of the Kursk region, two UAVs each over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Tula regions, and one UAV was destroyed over the territories of the Oryol and Ryazan regions,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The second attack took place between 06:00 and 06:30. On-duty air defence systems destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Bryansk and Yaroslavl regions.
