The report says several marines were rescued from the crash site on the Tiwi Islands, north of the city of Darwin, with no fatalities reported.

The incident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. local time (04:00 a.m. Moscow time). A helicopter with 20 soldiers on board crashed near Melville Island during the international exercise Predators Run.
According to the media, as a result of the accident there could be victims. Crew members reported missing.
