Tesla shareholder reveals new details about Cybertruck

Date: May 13, 2024 Time: 09:17:03

Tesla shareholder Matthew Donegan-Ryan attended the company’s Investor Day and learned previously unpublished details about the Cybertruck pickup. He told details about the new car to Carscoops.

According to him, Cybertruck turned out to be slightly less than the concept – by 5%. It turned out to be even smaller than the Ford F-150 Raptor pickup, but the space reserved for cargo is more voluminous. The car will go on sale in configurations with two and three electric motors.

All pickup versions will have rear-wheel steering, air suspension, and five seats. In the serial copy, there will be no front “sofa” with a seat between the driver and passenger, the doors will not support the Self Present function, which is, for example, on the Tesla Model X.

The in-cabin infotainment screen will be 18.5 inches, which is more than in any other Tesla. Cybertruck also received a head-up windshield display. Tesla has yet to respond to the leak of details about the pickup. The start of series production of Cybertruck is expected in 2024.

Tesla previously introduced a wireless charging station. The novelty will go on sale in February next year. We talk about it in more detail here.
