Until August 31, the Lenfilm film studio is organizing an exhibition-walk “On the waves of Isaac Schwartz’s film music”. The project was created for the 100th anniversary of the composer who wrote music for many Soviet films.
The exhibition is carried out in the format of a river walk, “stations” in which 14 films with music by Isaac Schwartz are projected. Nostalgic details of the exhibition are combined with modern multimedia solutions that will not leave indifferent even those who are getting acquainted with Schwartz’s work for the first time.
The program also includes excursions by the project’s curators and special screenings of three films from the Lenfilm collection: Straw Hat, Zhenya, Zhenya and Katyusha and Star of Captivating Happiness.
Let us remember that before the opening of the exhibition, the editors of BURO. I’ve created a playlist with music from your favorite home movies, as well as posters for them, for a complete immersion into the work of Isaac Schwartz.
