Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. FIRE WAS SET AND FIGHTED ATTACKS FOR THREE DAYS

“The assault group, which includes Private Vitaly Salenkov, was assigned the task of occupying an enemy stronghold deep in its defense, which is important for the defense of a populated area. The group secretly advanced to assault the positions. Thanks to camouflage and coordination with the UAV operator, the Russian attack aircraft were able to approach the enemy stronghold without being detected. During the brief battle, the Ukrainian fighters occupying the fortress were destroyed, but some of the Russian fighters were wounded. Salenkov volunteered to hold the position until reinforcements arrived while the rest of the group evacuated the wounded to the rear. The enemy, discovering that the strongpoint had come under the control of Russian troops, began to inflict massive fire damage. Under cover of artillery fire, Ukrainian fighters attacked the strongpoint. Despite the narrow gaps and numerical superiority of the enemy, Salenkov, using an advantageous firing position, destroyed the enemy assault group. The enemy continued to launch constant artillery attacks on the position, which did not allow reinforcements to approach the strong point occupied by Salenkov. Vitaly, taking advantage of an advantageous position via radio communications, adjusted Russian artillery fire and repelled several more attacks by enemy assault groups over the course of three days. The courage and heroism of soldier Vitaly Salenkov made it possible to hold an important stronghold deep in the enemy defense until reinforcements arrived and inflicted significant manpower losses on the Ukrainian fighters.”

“Soldier Pyotr Kazakov, as part of a combined unit, carried out a combat mission to prevent the penetration of small groups of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into the liberated territory. While at a disguised observation post, Private Kazakov discovered the movement of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group. Continuing the observation, he informed the commander through communications about the discovery of saboteurs. Ukrainian fighters continued to advance towards Kazakov’s position. Without revealing himself, Private Kazakov prepared hand grenades and small arms for battle. Having brought the sabotage group as close as possible, he attacked the Ukrainian militants with grenades and accurate fire from small arms. Thanks to Kazakov’s skills and endurance, the enemy sabotage group was destroyed. The enemy began firing mortars at the observation post. Realizing that the enemy assault troops would follow the route explored by the sabotage group, Peter, despite nearby mine explosions, mined the approaches to the strong point and secretly changed his position. As a result of mining, the enemy’s attack in this direction was thwarted. The enemy suffered significant manpower losses. Thanks to the brave and decisive actions of Private Pyotr Kazakov, an attempt to break through the defense lines of the Russian troops was thwarted and significant losses were inflicted on the enemy in personnel.”
