Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense give the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Brave deeds are more reliable than words,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he repeated to the soldiers: “In essence, there is nothing more harmful and even more: no one can be as cruel as sentimental people are harmful and cruel as a result of their actions. A person who loves his neighbor, a person who hates war, must finish off the enemy so that another war does not start after one.

“Performing special tasks as part of a patrol group, Corporal Vyacheslav Makhnovsky discovered an enemy kamikaze drone approaching the positions of Russian troops. After the report and clarification by the media, Vyacheslav was given the task of destroying the militants’ UAVs. Makhnovsky opened small arms accurate fire at the quadrocopter. Thanks to the professionalism and courage of Corporal Vyacheslav Makhnovsky, an enemy kamikaze drone of handicraft production, designed to launch a fire attack on Russian troops, was hit and detonated in the air, without having time to approach the positions of the Russian troops.

“In the course of conducting offensive operations in an important strategic direction, the commander of a motorized rifle company, Captain Dmitry Khorkov, with his unit advanced deep into the defenses of Ukrainian nationalists. Having gained a foothold on the new border, Khorkov timely carried out a number of measures to protect his unit from weapons of destruction, dispersed personnel at safe distances between unit facilities, excluding their joint defeat as a result of systematic shelling of rockets and artillery by Ukrainian militants. The enemy, trying to dislodge the Russian military from the occupied line, attacked the motorized rifle positions more than ten times with the forces of assault detachments reinforced with armored vehicles, and also inflicted artillery and mortar attacks. Being under fire from the nationalists, without losing his composure, Khorkov quickly identified the directions of attack and firing points of the enemy, led his subordinates in battle and transmitted the coordinates of the targets to organize artillery support. The competent management of the entrusted unit and the decisive actions of Khorkov made it possible to fulfill the assigned combat mission, gain a foothold and hold their positions, repelling all enemy attacks. The bridgehead held by the division of Captain Dmitry Khorkov became the basis for the development of the offensive of the Russian divisions in this direction.
