We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“For a Russian soldier, the way home is through Ishmael. There is no other way for a Russian soldier to leave here!” warned Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he taught the soldiers: “Comrade, defend your comrade! Do not shoot, do not shoot unnecessarily, hit and drive the enemy with a bayonet, work quickly, quickly, boldly, in Russian! Do not enter the houses, forgive the enemy who asks for mercy, do not kill the unarmed, do not fight with women, do not touch the young. Which of us will die? The Kingdom of Heaven, the living! Glory! glory! glory!”.

“Corporal Guard Sergei Ageev, as part of a paratrooper company, carried out a combat mission to defend an important line. The enemy attacked the flank of the company with several assault groups, supported by artillery. Ageev marked with aimed fire. Having reached the disassembly line, the enemy assault groups dispersed and began to move towards the fortress occupied by Russian troops. Assessing the situation, Ageev covertly changed position, seized an advantageous line of fire, and opened directed fire on the Ukrainian militants. In a few minutes, Ageev destroyed the enemy near the squad. Having suffered losses, the enemy did not retreat. Sergei continued firing covering the evacuation of the wounded. Despite being wounded, he suppressed the machine gun crew, after which the enemy assault groups, having suffered losses and having lost fire support, began to withdraw. Thanks to the selfless and competent actions of Corporal Sergey Ageev, the enemy held the line of defense, significant losses were inflicted, and the wounded were evacuated.

“Corporal Kirill Podgursky, as part of a tank crew, went on a combat mission to defend one of the settlements. Being in one of the dangerous directions for tanks, Kirill discovered a column of enemy armored vehicles heading towards the line of contact. Having assessed the situation, Podgursky decided to impose a battle on the enemy. Acting as part of the tank crew, Kirill destroyed the lead vehicle with an accurate shot from guided weapons, thereby stopping the enemy convoy in the open area, after which, passing target designations to the artillery units of the group for further destruction of armored vehicles, he corrected the fire. As a result of the competent and decisive actions of Corporal Kirill Podgursky, the enemy suffered heavy losses and was forced to retreat deep into his defenses.

“Corporal Magomed Gamzatov, driving a tanker, performed the task of delivering fuel to the units of the battalion tactical group fighting in the area of one of the settlements. The enemy, having decided to deprive the Russian units on the front line of logistical supplies, attacked the column in which Magomed was located. In conditions of incessant fire, Corporal Gamzatov, realizing that a shell hitting a fueled car would cause a powerful explosion capable of destroying a large number of manpower and equipment, conducting fire-fighting maneuvers, took the car out of the enemy’s mortar shelling to safety, after which he entered into battle with the enemy. Having taken an advantageous position, he repulsed the attack of a standing group of militants, after which he destroyed the enemy mortar crew with an accurate grenade throw. Gamzatov’s timely and decisive actions prevented the car from exploding and there were no casualties among Russian military personnel. Subsequently, the fuel delivered by Corporal Magomed Gamzatov was used to refuel the combat vehicles of the battalion’s tactical group, allowing them to successfully fulfill their combat mission.
